Hi everyone! Happy Sunday, I hope you have all had a great weekend. I decided I would post every Sunday, that seems to be what other bloggers do which I think is a good day to blog.
I wanted to tell you all about my creative weekend! Saturday was a jam packed day filled with painting, invitation editing and typography as I am meeting my friend next weekend to discuss her wedding plans and show her what I have done so far which is going to be very exciting!
Today, I went to an Autumn compote workshop at Wild Flowers which is a very cute little florist in Standish, Lancashire. Kerry who organised it was so lovely and I got to meet other creative people and discuss all our ideas and passions which was great! I get so inspired talking to other creative people it really gives me a buzz!
The first part was all about flower arranging and how to put something together, depending on the occasion and season. It was a lot harder than I thought but I love to learn something new and it was really enjoyable.
We then moved to the Allotment in Wigan where lunch was provided. I would definitely recommend a visit, the food was yummy! Especially the Victoria sponge! We got to meet wedding photographer Robyn of Bobtale Photography and she talked all about how to take better images, little tips to improve your camera skills and editing apps and tools which was great! Lately I have found it difficult to take pictures and lost ideas on what to take but today has really given me a boost and inspired me again!
It is all about practise! It was so nice to spend a day talking flowers, Instagram and business ideas! I love to network and meet new people and today was perfect for that!
I am attending a few more workshops where I hope to be just as inspired as today! I cant wait to share it all with you.
Go and check out Wild Flowers and Bobtale Photography's Instagram and see their work! :)
Now, time for a cup of tea and Blue Planet!
