Hi everyone! As I sit in my tiny house with a hot cup of tea, hearing the bangs from the fireworks and enjoying the colours light up my window I thought I'd tell you about my weekend.
It has been a very busy weekend but one I have been looking forward to!
Friday night was my mums birthday! I finally got home after the usual Friday traffic and enjoyed birthday celebrations with my family and of course, cake! There are lots of birthdays in my family around November/December...I think that's why it's my favourite time of year! And of course Christmas which I love. If you have been watching my Insta stories I have been showing you all my cosy, craft nights in. I have been collecting lots of Christmas magazines and been enjoying sitting by the fire getting very excited by all the craft projects and winter baking ideas I want to try! It's such a great time of year!
I am also planning my home interior to style it for Christmas. Keep your eyes peeled for that! Eek! I cant wait!
I then went to visit my best friend Nat in the Lake District. I lived with her at university and we have been such good friends since. Even though we don't see each other all the time, when we do it's like we've never been apart. I have the privilege of being her bridesmaid next year which is going to be amazing! She has asked me to design her wedding invitations and lots of other styling ideas and displays. We met up to have a catch up about it all and I am very pleased to say she loves everything I have done so far! Phew!
Unfortunately you will have to wait until the New Year to see it all but I can't wait to show you. It is all hand made and suits the rustic and country setting.
Interiors, event styling, being crafty, making and baking are all things I truly love. I am super passionate about it all and I just get so excited by any opportunity I get to be creative. I hope to take it further and eventually turn it into a little business! That's my plan anyway!
I hope you have all had a good weekend, whatever your plans! Another busy week coming up for me so let's catch up next weekend! :)
