As Christmas time approaches I can’t help but get excited! I love the Christmas build up! The cold, crisp walks. The wood burner roaring whilst I sit with hot tea watching Christmas films. Love Actually has already been watched several times!! And Magic Christmas is the only thing I listen to now!
Ive started to gather all sorts of Christmas treats so I can hibernate in my cosy home and fill up on Shloer, Twiglets and endless tubs of Roses and Quality Street....it’s what we all do right?
I am beginning to think about what decorations I’ll put up. My house is so so small and I will be visiting my family for the majority of the time so I am planning to create a little winter scene at the front of the house. I have some ideas but I’ll see how it turns out! For the inside I just want a small tree, real of course! I love the smell, so Christmassy, a fake tree just doesn’t have the same excitement for me!
I am looking forward to a very quiet and relaxed Christmas this year, the last few months have been very up and down and I want next year to be great! I have lots of exciting things coming up and I am looking forward to a new year with a fresh start! We can discuss our New Years resolutions closer to the time!
My aim for this week is to get some Christmas baking done! I hope to show you what I make next week and I’ll share the recipes I used! I’m hoping they’ll go great with Christmas presents and add a little extra handmade touch! I won’t make any promises as it might go terribly wrong or I eat it all it’s that yummy! You’ll find out next week!
I hope you’ve all had a good weekend and also feeling festive!
