So, this weekend has been festive from start to finish! After yet another hectic week in work I was really looking forward to feeling Festive and enjoying a good weekend getting Christmassy!
It began with the School of Christmas Styling Workshop with Fabulous Places and Birds In The Attic. The venue was so so nice, filled with wreaths, decorations, table displays, drink ideas and a huge wood burner to keep us all warm! Yum!!!
I now have lots of ideas to make my own Christmas drinks and baked goods over the festive season! It also made me realise how much I want to create my own workshop! As you know I have lots of ideas and styling tips I feel I could put into a workshop and present to people! If any of you feel this is something you’d be interested in then please let me know as I would love to prepare something for next Christmas time!
Over the last week I have been busy making my own styled shoot! Being a massive interior nerd I thought I would set up my own shoot to add to my portfolio, a Christmas tablescape that can easily be transferred to anyone’s home! I loved it! It was great fun and I got some great images at the end of it! My baking still keeps going wrong, vanilla fudge anyone? Help me, as I keep making a mess of it!
Today I went to Windy Arbour Farm Shop which is back near my home town. Lily and Arthur’s is an amazing little cafe and they did a pop up shop full of cakes, brownies and hot chocolate, which was so yummy!! It was nice to get a hot chocolate, walk around and choose my first Christmas tree for my little home! With Christmas songs playing in the background! - Literally heaven for me haha!
So, I chose my tree! Ahh so exciting! If you have seen my insta stories you’ll see him sat outside my house and he looks perfect! I will be putting the rest of the decs this week so keep your eyes peeled on my insta!
I’m off to watch a Christmas film and get cosy for the evening, happy Sunday everyone!
