I wanted to post about my sisters wedding as soon as I got home but I haven’t had a minute! My busy few months haven’t quite finished yet! I am currently at centre parcs with my lovely work pals, so as they enjoy the match I thought I would write this blog post and finally tell you about my sisters wedding!!
They decided to get married in Malta, not for any particular reason but they wanted somewhere a little different, with guaranteed hot weather! Sounds perfect to me! It was a chance for all the family to spend some time together as everyone is so busy now we don’t often get time to be together as a family!
The planning seems to have been much easier and a smoother process than back home. She organised everything quite early on and as they only wanted a very small wedding it wasn’t, or didn’t seem to be as stressful!
The hen do was a great success and everyone really enjoyed themselves! Which I was very pleased about! We had such a good time together and it got us really excited for the wedding celebrations!
The wedding in Malta couldn’t have been anymore perfect! The venue was stunning, it was called Villa Bologna Gardens and it truly made the wedding! The setting was perfect, so much greenery and perfect for Instagram stories and photographs! The ceremony only lasted about 10 minutes and then the music was playing, an eye cream cart was there and of course a few glasses of prosecco! I am so pleased for Jess and Baz and I wish them a lifetime of happiness! They have so many exciting things to look forward to.
The evening reception was back at the radisson hotel where we were staying! The speeches and the food was great! We all had a laugh and enjoyed celebrating together as a family! We got to spend a few days in Malta exploring and chilling out before the evening do back in the uk.
The evening do was a great way to finish off the celebrations with all family and friends back home! It has been a pleasure being a part of the wedding, the build up, the hen do, the fun times! I am gutted it is all over!
I have added some pics of the wedding so you can have a little nosey!
